Photographer Saul Santos Diaz
Jorge Luís dos Santos Dias or simply Jorge Luís (born 11 February 1976), is a Brazilian left back who plays for C.D. Trofense.
Born in Nova Iguaçu, Rio de Janeiro state, Jorge Luís started his career at Rio club Fluminense and followed the team relegated to Campeonato Brasileiro Série B and Campeonato Brasileiro Série C. In 2001, he left for Santa Cruz and played at 2001 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A season and followed the team relegated to Série B. In August 2002, at the start of Série B, he left for Portuguese side Varzim.
In June 2003, he was signed by Sporing Braga and played 2½ season at Portuguese Liga as a regular. In January 2006, he moved to Dynamo Moscow as the club signed several Portuguese players likes Danny, Derlei and Maniche. After just played 6 league matches, he returned to Braga in January 2007, but lost his starting place after 4 matches as starter.
In July 2007, he returned to Brazil for Internacional, signed a 1-year contract. In May 2008, he joined Porto Alegre FC for Campeonato Gaúcho Segunda Divisão. In August 2008, he left for CRB for Campeonato Brasileiro Série B 2008 but released in September, having only played 1 match on 23 August.
After without a club for a year, in October 2009, he was signed by Trofense until the end of Liga de Honra.
